Job Purpose and Summary Canon Europe is currently looking for a confident and experienced Marketing and Communications Content Planner to plan and deliver marketing communications content initiatives across its B2B business for the EMEA region.The role is to support the B2B business groups to strategically plan and deliver industry leading content and comms, ensuring the most compelling and relevant content is delivered through the right channel and at the right time.This highly visible role will engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and will evaluate, coordinate and influence the core product and tech material delivery by Canon EMEA. • Work with the EMEA Marketing and Communication Lead for the developing of class-leading, segment-specific content strategies and marketing communications for each distinct audience, while ensuring the delivery is successfully completed via the right channelsand in line with the project timelines.
• Initiate, plan, manage and work with the agency-based content production team to deliver high-value content aligned to creative themes, marketing strategies and business objectives.
• Work closely with the Corporate Communications team (including PR, Social Media and Brand) and other external agency partners, as well as offshore suppliers, localisation, and publishing teams to ensure the content projects delivery in an efficient andtimely manner
• Support the development of full calendarized content plans, including engagement with different internal stakeholders and cascade to and alignment with local markets.
• Evaluate, coordinate and influence product launches and tech materials in collaboration with Canons global headquarter teams.
• Getting involved in the content planning for the lead gen paid social campaigns, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the content is prepared and delivered according to the project plan
• Measurement and evaluation of content performance to create best practice and deliver ROI for the business
• Work with the wider team to support core product launches, business launches and events from content planning to delivery, measurement and continuous improvement
• Stays abreast of industry and category marketing best practice and ensure proven methods are applied and tested.

You will needAs Marketing & Communications Content Planner you have:

• Proven experience of defining and delivering B2B marketing communications in a pan European organisation
• Demonstrable experience of content strategy, content planning and content performance
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
• A second European language would be a plus
• A passion for working with people and ability to efficiently engage with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive in nature, curious and with an analytical mindset
• Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
