Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Financial Controller/Head of FinanceThe company:- Has been established over 5 years and is already one of the leading businesses in their sector. Supported by a global brand, they currently they have over a 1000 locations across the UK The role:- Is the No1 role in finance and part of the senior leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include the preparation and presentation of the monthly and quarterly accounts pack, year end, balance sheet reconciliations, evaluatingand managing risk, ensuring compliance with regulations whilst overseeing the day to day accounting operations. Monitoring expenditure, forecasting revenue and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.Provide commercial/strategic support and analysis of the numbers to senior leadership team* Treasury and cash flow management* Prepare annual budget and other forecasts as requiredThe person:- Qualified graduate ACA/CIMA/ACCA with at least 3 experience in a similar role as Financial Controller or Head of Operational Finance. Confident reporting and presenting to director level with a results-driven approach, comfortable getting involvedfrom the bottom up. This is a hands on, get involved role for a commercial accountant to influence the decision making process and improve the companys financial performance. You will recommend and implement best accounting practices and direct the accountingoperations of the business. Strong analytical skills, an exceptional problem-solver, resilient, confident and out going. Advanced Excel skills useful - hybrid working optional
