Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Support (classroom based)Regular Supply workPart time or Full time£85 - £100.00 per dayStart Date: ASAPWe are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a committed and supportive team at a Primary school based in Upton Park.The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 1 classes and will support children who have additional learning needs, as well as acting as a general Teaching Assistant.What will your responsibilities be- To provide 1:1 and small group support to children within the class.- Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff, meeting the childrens specific needs.- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting independence and social integration.- Monitor and record certain childrens progress, communicating effectively with the SENCO and other relevant professionals.What do you need- Experience working in a SEND focused position within a Primary/Secondary School.- An understanding of the specific challenges faced by children with complex needs and a commitment to inclusive education.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with the child, parents, teaching staff, and external professionals.- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting the unique learning journey of the child.All applicants will be subject to thorough employment checks and must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service certificate in place.At Bond each candidate will have their own designated Account Manager who has strong working relationships with schools in your area and will be there to support you throughout your career.If you are available for supply work please send in you CV ASAP.
