Job Description

Year 4 Teacher needed from April Are you able to see each child as an individual and ensure children are active learners in all lessonsDo you have the highest expectations of achievement and behaviourCan work as part of a successful team to plan and deliver an inspiring and engaging curriculumPrincipal Resourcing are seeking an excellent and ambitious teacher to join the year 4 team of one of our friendly, welcoming and diverse primary schools in the WF9 area . We are seeking a special someone who is committed to raising standards and developing outstanding primary practice within a hardworking team. We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated and innovative teachers. You will be someone who is a reflective practitioner, eager to improve their skills and committed to becoming an outstanding teacher. Ideally you will have a sound knowledge of the lower KS2 Curriculum.We are happy to receive applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs.The school is part of a successful Academy Trust. The Trusts main aim is to ensure all children receive the education that they deserve, and at the school every child is offered support and challenge so they can reach their full potential.The position is to start as soon as possible, initially until the end of the Spring Term to cover a sickness absence but it could potentially be for longer.Day to day responsibilities:

  • Differentiated planning
  • Marking, Assessment and Feedback
  • Deliver quality first teaching
  • Deploy support staff effectively
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Liaise with the schools learning mentor, SENCO and outside agencies
  • What you will require:
  • QTS qualification and the ability to teach KS2
  • A focus on achieving the highest standards and delivery of quality first teaching
  • The ability to develop and work in strong, effective teams and partnerships
  • Commitment to developing the character of all our young people
  • Perseverance, determination and resilience to secure positive progress outcomes for students
  • 2 x references
  • A valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
