Job Description

Deputy Home Manager position in Slough, Berkshire. Recruiting for a small sized care provider, who are a family run care company. Must have General experience within care homes. Ideally looking for someone who is currently a care supervisor orteam leader, who is looking for their next step up. Opportunity to work for a well supported, care provider. A medium sized residential service for the elderly with dementia.Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Home Manager:

  • To manage a team of Carersand work closely with the Home Manager
  • Proven experience in assisting in managing fully compliant Residential Homes
  • Experience in managing/ leading staff teams
  • Commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Deciding and initiating action
  • To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice
DeputyHome Manager Requirements:
  • Experience is care is essential
  • Ensuring quality of care for residents
  • Previous track record working within residential care companies
