Business Analyst South West Wales - Hybrid - One day a week onsite £30,000 - £35,000 + Benefits Unify is super proud to be working with an amazing specialist Insurance and legal technology firm based in South Wales. They achieve this by putting innovationinto the hands of their people to make the best of their experience and ideas before delivering the best new solutions to their clients.Alongside a great salary and a great working environment they also offer the following benefits:* Pension - 5% matched contribution* Life Assurance (2 x salary)* Free Local parking permit - dependent on office location* Leadership, profession training & support with professional qualifications* Development programmes & institute memberships* Season ticket & travel loans* Cycle to work scheme* Eyecare & spectacles vouchers* Discounts on short term car insurance, the Guardian newspaper, National Tyre & Autocentre and more!Key Responsibilities * You will provide detailed user stories that adhere to best practice standards across a range of projects and programs utilising a set of core BA tools and techniques * You will provide estimates for effort and timescale for each ticket as well as dependencies.* You will help to prioritise backlog items in each sprint.* You will engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure complete understanding and alignment of project objectives, requirements and processes* You will be confident in all aspects of the projects lifecycle capturing requirements to define the scope, analyse change initiatives, obtain stakeholder approval and managing the acceptance of new features* You will take on multiple projects spanning both traditional development and robotic process automation with the ability to adapt your approach to suit the project assigned* You will document and report on risks and issues that arise within your project and present these back to the project manager or other stakeholders where required.* You will be responsible for time management and accurately estimating/managing your time on a project in line with the project budgetSkills / Experience Required. * An active basic knowledge of modern technology including, .NET, C#, SQL, react.* At least 1-year experience working as an analyst in the software and technology sector and with different systems* Experience working within Agile and Waterfall frameworks and the ability to adapt your work style to match the approach of a project* Experience with Azure DevOps or similar.* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders of all levels internally and externally and present information in a way that promotes full comprehension* Excellent Time management skills with the ability to work on and complete multiple projects at a time.Desirable Skills/Experience * A BCS certified BA qualification or similar* Experience with other BA software: Visio, Microsoft Project, Invision or similarUnify and proud to be a part of the Welsh Governments Equality pledge.
