Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with an ability to make a tangible difference to our business operations working within the Digital Transformation team.As the Business Analyst for the Road Freight Function, you will work closely with our expert team to become the Subject Matter Expert. As a part of your role, you will apply your skills to map the current business processes and highlight opportunities. Wealso want to ensure this information is version controlled and shared with colleagues across the business to support onboarding/upskilling programs for our colleagues.You will be a key player in helping your stakeholders revolutionise their ways of working. You will be pivotal in getting stakeholder buy-in, and work closely with the Product Owner and Developers to deliver this improvement (including training the SuperUser group). You will also highlight the benefits to ensure we can measure what we have improved and share our success. This role has a good career trajectory with opportunity for growth and development, based at our Head Office in Upminster, with opportunity for hybrid working. Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute towards defining "What good looks like" and support stakeholders through the journey
  • Work with Product Owner to work towards requirement (Epics and Features) readiness which align to business needs and requests
  • Ensure regular communications with Stakeholders
  • Provide training & support to all stakeholders where appropriate
  • Collaborate with the BA team to create a complete Knowledge Base for all processes and procedures within the Uniserve Group
  • Work with all stakeholders to support on BETA testing, and oversee UAT from the business teams
  • An "automate everything" consideration taken towards process improvement
  • Support the project lifecycle through Request, Requirement Refinement, Demo, Build, Test, Hyper Care, and Business as Usual
  • Ensure "Evergreen IT" by highlighting when software is due to be upgraded and supporting relevant teams with a smooth upgrade process
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Qualifications in at least 1 of the following disciplines : Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or Higher) / BCS Business Analyst / APMG Change Management
  • Demonstrable track record of implementing business change and/or digital transformation through a defined change management process
  • Experience and knowledge in supply chain, warehousing or freight would be beneficial but not required
  • Demonstrates leadership and can manage prioritisation conflicts
  • Can manage a backlog of requests, by detailing requirements, resolving, dependencies & and managing priorities with other Function Owners
  • Can look ahead to create Road Maps and share strategy with senior stakeholders
  • Review progress of requirement build to plan in demos, and share regular updates with stakeholders
  • Can gain trust from stakeholders and be their go to person for all requests or queries within their domain
Additional Working Requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence Required
  • Travel to various Uniserve Group sites required
