An expanding technology company specialising in radio frequency identification and software development for the manufacturing and logistics markets, in addition to solutions for the lifting market, regulated by the HSE and the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) are seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The Company has been expanding over recent years and has attracted significant investment from Spanset who are a large multi-national organisation. The impressive customer base includes blue chip companies such as the Electricity Supply Board, Ocado, BMW-Mini and VP Hire Station. They are now looking for an experienced professional to take a leading role in helping the company in achieving the next round of growth. You will receive a salary of £35,000 with the potential to earn significantly more in commission, a car allowance of £4,000 per annum to cover all running costs including insurance, a fuel card which can be used for personal travel and 25 days paid holiday per annum.As an Account Manager you will:- Maintain regular contact with customers to generate revenue for additional services for development, consultancy and training. - Visit customers to discuss an implementation plan and clarify their requirements. - Test the systems, implement them at customer site and train their users. - Visit new customers and plan the implementation of their systems. - Specify customisation requirements and report specifications. - Brief the technical team on how systems are to be prepared and customised. - Maintain on-going contact with the customers and assist with issues that may arise. We are looking for an Account Manager with:- Experience in an account management, customer service, sales or contact centre role. - Experience of implementing and supporting IT systems. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Strong presentation skills. - Ability to communicate customer requirements to technical personnel and understand the response.
