Five Education are working with a special school in Weston-Super-Mare and we are recruiting candidates to work with young people who have Autism and/or SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs. Some of the students will have additional needs including challenging behaviour and SpLD (ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Dyscalculia).Responsibilities and duties:Assisting students in their work, helping them to remain focussed and on taskHelping the class teacher with differentiation so all students can access the curriculum Implementing behaviour management tools Helping students to develop self-regulation techniques, and teach them when they need to employ themEssential Criteria:Experience supporting children or young people with SENDHave a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)Two recent child/vulnerable adult based references and relevant DBS/Police checksAccess to bicycle, car or near main bus routes.
