Job Description

Assistant Practitioner Training PostsAn exciting opportunity has arisen to enable you to take your first steps to become an Assistant Practitioner Radiographer. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated people to be put forward for selection assistant practitioners. This apprenticeship will run in conjunction with Weston College and the University of the West of England. This is a post where we will see an expansion of our current Assistant Practitioner team; you will be training alongside a multidisciplinary team of existing AP, Radiographers, Radiologists and other students.Assistant Practitioner Radiographer training will be delivered by Weston College and University of the West of England gaining you an Assistant Practitioner – Foundation Degree

  • You will make a commitment to study both within working hours and at home during the duration of the apprenticeship course
  • Attend virtual tutorials and webinars and complete all e-learning as well as face to face taught sessions
  • During the course of your training you will be expected to be flexible in your working hours (37.5 per week) with some of them outside of core hours. This will include 7 day working.
  • Entry requirement for Apprenticeship
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • 3 x A Levels or alternative Level 3 qualifications (Access course/L3 NVQ, L3 national diploma etc)
