On-boarding and compliance assistantFull time permanent roleMon-Fri 0915-1730Uckfield - free street parking available very nearbySalary: £40000-£50000 per year plus very good company benefitsThis role is primarily office based but there are opportunities to also work from home part of the week. This role can be based in either Uckfield or the London office. If Uckfield office based then there would be a need to travel occasionally to the Londonoffice.We are delighted to be working alongside our very professional and highly reputable accountancy based client as they seek to recruit an On-boarding and compliance assistant to join their team on a permanent and full time basis.Duties and responsibilities:On-board all new clients across the Group.Periodic review of existing clients to ensure that all documentation is up to date and in accordance with current regulationsEnsure all in-house processes and procedures are followed and updated accordinglyProvide technical updates to the businessEnsure collection of all anti money laundering documentation and record and store the information in a fully compliant mannerAssist in maintaining and updating proceduresGather information directly from prospects, their representatives and introducersReview and Run SmartSearch checksMonitor & review Letters of EngagementOverview process of setting up new clients on the systemMonitor SmartSearch notifications and UK government sanction updates, considering the impact on existing and prospective clients in order to advise partnersAssist Compliance Partner with other ad-hoc compliance related matters including those related to GDPRSkills and experience required:Proven experience of anti money laundering client due diligence and AML on-boarding in professional servicesUnderstanding of GDPR regulations, AML & relevant client due diligenceClient-facing experienceStrong research & analytical skillsAbility to manage internal and external stakeholders expectationsCapable of managing work-flows and changing prioritiesExcellent verbal & written communication skillsThis is an excellent full time and permanent opportunity to join a first class organisation - please apply now for immediate consideration!First Recruitment Services is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Please note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
