Exciting Opportunity: Food Production Manager - Outskirts of Uckfield - Must be a driverThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business on the outskirts of Uckfield as a Food Production Manager in a full-time permanent role. If you have a passion for ensuring impeccable food hygiene standards and leading a dedicated team, this roleoffers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity.Whats in it for you

  • Salary: £25K - £32K DOE
  • Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee meticulous production processes
  • Supervise production staff, ensure efficient operations
  • Complete accurate paperwork, assess finished product quality
  • Collaborate on weekly production schedules
  • Maintain clear communication with Procurement
  • Ensure adherence to processes and paperwork completion
  • Supervise production team, implement hygiene and safety procedures
  • Oversee quality control and food safety measures
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • 1 year+ experience in a manager/supervisor position
  • 1 year+ experience working in a factory production environment
  • Passionate, dynamic, and results-oriented
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Leadership experience with a positive influence
  • Driven, flexible, and punctual
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Food safety/HACCP Level 2, COSHH Awareness
  • Supervisory/Leadership experience
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Health & Safety Level 3
