Job Description

The CompanyMTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in North Tyneside the area.The Role.

  • Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor.
  • Use of various machinery as and when required
  • Perform machine start-ups and stops as required, logging any problems following procedures Completing paperwork
  • Regular quality inspections of products, checking for any issues
  • Operate counterbalance forklift throughout the course of the shift
  • Maintain the companys health & safety standards at all times
  • We are looking for a couple new members of staff, firstly a warehouse operative / factory foreman, appreciate we may need to pay a higher hourly rate than previous for this.
  • Manufacturing (engineering) background - they will be required to fit hose assemblies (physical) - the job involves a lot of lifting.
  • Competent on a forklift truck essential - offload pallets from courier, restock parker hose warehouse etc
  • Able to methodically work through a job sheet and follow processes to the end
  • Responsible for quality control of orders being despatched, correct items - quantities
  • Able to work overtime when required
The Candidate
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
  • Must be able to operate FLT counterbalance and have valid licence
The Hours
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00am - 16:30pm
