Job Description

An award winning civil and structural engineering consultancy are looking for a talented Structural engineer to join their collaborative and innovative team in Tyne and Wear. Responsibilities
  • Producing detailed structural designs and calculations
  • Undertaking structural surveys and delivering solutions to any issues
  • Ensure designs and calculations are up to British Standards and Eurocodes
  • Liaise with clients, architects, authorities and design team
  • Attend relevant meetings and site inspections
Requirements
  • BEng or Meng in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication abilities (written and verbal)
  • Some structural design experience post graduate qualification
  • Knowledge of designing with all the common building materials (steel, timber, concrete and timber)
  • Good knowledge of building structures
  • Competent technical skills with Tekla and Masterseries
