Extraordinary People, Exceptional Care Are you a Nurse Dementia Therapist looking for a new opportunity with an organisation that will help you develop and achieve your professional goals and aspirations Hourly rate - £20.00 per hour (Equivalent of NHSband 6) Working hours/pattern - 33.00 hours per week - Days & Nights available 08:00 hrs to 20:00 hrs (Days) 20:00 hrs to 08:00 hrs (Nights) Location - Hylton Road, Millfield, Sunderland, SR4 7AB The Role: As a specialist Nurse Dementia Therapist in this settingyou will be responsible for providing the highest level of personal care and attention to our residents, formulating, implementing and maintaining nursing care plans. You will also supervise the staff in the home, ensuring the delivery of care is within theexpectations of the Reconnect model. About you: Youll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Nurse Dementia Therapist. You will be experienced in producing well-developed care plansand understand regulatory frameworks. You will be dedicated and compassionate, approachable and committed to delivering person-centred care. You will be an active and encouraging member of the team, assisting in induction and training of new staff, ensuringstrong links to residents families in order to enhance the quality of care provided. You will work to ensure that the VERA model of communication is utilised within the service.
