Job Description

Progressives Mechanical Engineering Team are recruiting for several mechanical engineers for a key client based in Tyneside. These are mechanical and senior mechanical engineer positions.Due to the award of some very exciting subsea and offshore engineering projects, they are looking for contract staff for a minimum of a 6-month period. The roles will be Outside IR35. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.Key Skills

  • 3D modelling using Autodesk Inventor
  • Inventor FEA
  • Engineering calculations
  • Subsea engineering
  • Offshore equipment
  • Working to design engineering standards such as DNV and Lloyds
  • FEA using ANSYS or STAAD
  • Hand calculations
  • BOMs
