A Mechanical Design Engineer is sought by a successful Engineering company to join their Design teamYou will develop 3D mechanical design concepts for all projects providing information to aid the NPI process and produce drawings to applicable internal and external standards and create accurate bill of materials, (BOM) prior to assembly.You will also produce accurate manufacturing drawings for all applicable parts including component, sub assembly and general arrangement drawings, parts lists and manufacturing data and make sure mechanical design solutions are viable and cost effective, utilising continuous improvement methodsThe successful candidate will have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering and experience of designing fabricated parts and enclosures. You will need good 3D modelling skills and experience of using CAD systems such as Solidworks, Inventor, CREO, Unigraphics or CATIA.
