Job Description

Adecco Northumberland are looking to recruit a number a industrial cleaners for our well-established manufacturing client based in Killingworth.Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to producing high-quality products in a clean and organised environment. We prioritise cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a safe and efficient workplace. We are currently seeking dedicated individualsto join our team as Factory Cleaners.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in industrial facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Remove debris, waste, and hazardous materials from designated areas.
  • Clean and sanitise surfaces, machinery, and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet cleaning objectives and deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an industrial cleaner or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Additional information:
  • Temporary from asap until end of March minimum
  • Mon to Fri 8-5 (8 hours per day)
  • £11.00 per hour
