You will be joining a very secureand expanding business, where you will enjoy a varied working environment, a great team culture and a great new career move.If you are a Engineering/Maintenance Team Leader, please apply now for an immediate response.The Job You’ll Do;• To ensure equipment is set up ready for shift start, and ensure lines are shut down correctly.• KPI’s to be reviewed every shift to maintain focus on delivery and cost.• Consistent reporting of all activities including breakdown repair.• Carry out RCAs for repetitive breakdowns or large losses to OEE.• Target the completion of 100% of PM’s, using forward thinking to get maintenance done whenever possible.• Understanding of health & safety and hygiene rules and regulations.• To assist in initiatives and proactive working to keep site waste below 3%• To provide an engineering function that can deliver 85% OEE on site.• To review and allocate the workload between the other Multi Skilled Engineer’s on shift.• To liaise with Shift managers, Product leads etc to be proactive to the production plan, issues that arise and gaining access to machines.• To make best placed decisions based on information, tools available and discussed between Operations and engineering teams.• To ensure that a thorough technical handover is given between previous and following shift.• Daily downtime sheets/ filling in shift or downtime book/ Maintenance records.• Correctly completed history in Maintenance system, and engineering shift report.• Service sheets completed and adherence through daily and weekend plan.• Input into production tracker to be reviewed to align with actual DT problems and timings.About You;• Previous experience/exposure to leadership of a team• Ability to communicate to others in department and cross departments.• Decision maker• Self motivated• Conscientious, with attention to detail• Organisational skills• Strong Technical aptitude• Strong multi-discipline engineer• Apprenticeship / Technical background Electrical/Mechanical - level 3 NVQ or equivalent• Experience of PLC, HMI Scada controlled systems (desirable)
