Community Listening ManagerNewcastleFull Time£28,000 - £30,000Our client is a successful, award winning games publisher and is now looking for a Community Listening Manager.So if you have a passion for console gaming and managerial experience in social media then this is the role for you!As Community Listening Manager, you would lead a small community sentiment team and be responsible for consolidation and production of key business reports based upon community sentiment data to share with board level directors and production teams.Job DescriptionThe role of the Community Listening Manager is to help and guide the team to pilot data and analyze the sentiment of the console gaming communities across all digital & social media platforms at a worldwide level. As manager of the team, your role is to support the strategy and put the consumer at the heart of everything they do. By applying statistical methods and techniques to the comments they gather online you will, with your team and the global community team, generate meaningful quantitative & qualitative insights that will help drive future community management and game development strategies.The Community Listening Manager responsibilities:• Be the “scientific” point of reference for listening to the communities• Create and implement methodology to produce quantified community reporting• Coordinate and produce quantified reports on community conversation on a weekly basis and AdHoc• Help structure the sentiment analysis to increase the accuracy of the report• Define and follow KPIs for understanding the community behaviours• Build and update all queries regarding the games and competition• Train Digital Marketing & Community Teams to be the point of contact for listening tools• Partner with business subsidiaries to produce campaign reports on specific local needs• Key operational point of contact for listening tool provider• Develop tools efficiency by implementing upgrade or searching for new tools and technologiesQualificationsOutstanding written and oral communication skills in EnglishOutstanding written and oral communication skills in another European language is a plusExperience in Boolean queries to undertake in-depth analysis (“And” “OR” “Near” etc.)Experience of social media listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Synthesio, Crimson Hexagon a plus)Excellent understanding of the video game industry with a passion for gaming and an affinity with the gaming communityStrong analytical skills with the ability to highlight the interesting/actionable finding in a broad and complex dataset.Commercially minded with the ability to explain complex ideas and data, both verbally and in written reports.Strong project management skills, will coordinate worldwide team on a listening approachHighly organized, proactive, positive and professional attitude.Experience as managing a remote team is a plusSkills RequiredSkillsQualifications RequiredQualificationsKeywordsKeywords #Communitylisteningmanager #socialmedia #brandwatch #marketing #digitalmarketing #productawareness#community
