MTrecs New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our world leading High Value Engineering Solutions Provider, based in Tyne & Wear, with their plans for growth and expansion by recruiting a Permanent Commissioning Technician to join their organisation. A successfulcandidate will be responsible for the commissioning and testing of all on-site systems. If you are an experienced Commissioning Technician/Engineer and looking for your next career move, apply now for an immediate response!The Job Youll Do;
  • Instrument pipefitting on customers sites.
  • Supporting the commissioning engineer in FAT of all HRS.
  • Run full FAT of all NANO systems.
  • Support customers visits to the Sunderland site for witness testing.
  • Be a custodian of 6S, training new members of the team.
  • Be involved in six sigma projects to improve testing.
  • Carry out daily/weekly/monthly TPM on test site.
  • Contribute to developing new test plans/procedures.
  • Help develop new SOPs for test site activities.
  • Complete and comply with IR code of ethics.
  • Train apprentices and newer members of the team.
  • Continuous Improvement duties.
  • Play a key role in EHS processes and policies.
About You;
  • Swagelok fitting and installation
  • HNC mechanical discipline or Equivalent.
  • Instrument pipefitting skills
  • Butech/Autoclave
  • Pressure testing experience
  • Functional testing experience
  • Pneumatic circuit experience
  • Knowledge of P&ID drawings
  • Mechanical installation management
  • Knowledge of pump technology, gas, hydraulic and process systems.
  • Instrumentation tubing fitting experience
  • Knowledge of ATEX/IECEx or qualification
  • IPAF Qualification
