Job Description

Python Engineer

  • Working days & hours: full time, 37.5 hours
  • Part of SOW: plan A is to wrap them into the current SOW
  • Period: 6 months with likelihood of 6 month extension
  • Python software engineer with 3+ years experience of Python
  • Good experience of data, building dimensionalised data warehouses (e.g. SnowFlake) and Extract Transform Load (ETL)
  • Has worked across broad range of extract techniques e.g. ODBC, API, screen scraping, file import
  • Experience of container workloads & Docker Image Creation
  • Worked in a large enterprise with knowledge of Service Now, AD, LDAP, firewall requests
  • Self-motivated to deliver high integrity performant extracts
  • Upside would be understanding of Private and Public clouds
