Job Description

JacobJames Recruitment is recruiting for a Business Development Consultant to work for a company who leads the world in the development and sale of cloud-based legal practice management software for small law firms on a Software as a Service(SaaS) model.Salary: £30,000 basic, £7,200 car allowance (static money £37,200) + uncapped commission - achievable and OTE of £73,000 - £80,000+ (uncapped) per annum.The Business Development Consultant will join a dynamic, high-velocity New Business team based in London. This role will cover various regions across the South so a driving license will be essential.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and hungry salesperson to promote a proven software solution into a new market.The Business Development will need the following:

  • Excellent presenting and communication skills
  • The ability to successfully liaise with lawyers / small law firms and close a deal.
The Business Development Consultant will be provided with the following:

The Business Development Consultant responsibilities include:
  • Qualifying, pursuing and closing new business sales opportunities within specific territory
  • Cold calling (you will also be supported by a specialist team, generating and warming up leads for you)
  • Demonstrating the key benefits of the software to potential clients online and onsite
  • Achieving individual and team targets
  • Closing new business deals
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Liaising with senior staff to determine sales strategies and targets
  • Discussing client requirements
  • Understanding the mission of each client and quantify how the software solution will make an impact
  • Ensure all of the clients goals are delivered
The Business Development Consultants requirements are as follows:Skills Required:
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive environment
  • Adept in analysing client reactions to products and pricing
  • Highly self-motivated, competitive with a confident attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An ability to quickly build strong relationships
  • An ability to demonstrate our product
  • You will need to be able to drive
Desirable Experience
  • A Legal or SaaS background
  • Proven examples of exceeding sales targets
  • Other Requirements
  • Access to own car and ability to drive (generous car allowance provided)
  • The ability to travel and stay overnight across the UK.
  • Articulate & well presented.
The Sales Consultant will receive the following benefits:
  • Salary: £30,000 basic, £7,200 car allowance (static money £37,200) + uncapped commission - achievable and OTE of £73,000 - £80,000+ (uncapped) per annum.
