Job Description

AdministratorPart Time 21 Hours£22,750 pro rata (actual salary £13,650)Richmond Carers CentreTwickenham, RichmondBe the administrative hub in this amazing charityThis is a part-time role 3 days per week in a well-established charity based in TwickenhamThis role would really suit someone who wants to have the opportunity to work flexibly and build their career in the Charity sector.Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help adult and young carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable themto live well.As the Administrator, you will be part of a small, dedicated organisation where you will provide administrative support and take a lead on office tasks. You will support each of the teams to support in the delivery of their services to adult and young carers.You will work closely with the CEO and Operations Manager in effective business, financial, and HR administration.You will be someone who is:

  • Is enthusiastic, empathetic and detail conscious
  • Has good communication skills including spoken, written and presentational.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, Internet, Email and Database use.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise a diverse workload.
  • Who works in a person-centred way.
  • In any event You will have the skills we need from some other combination of work and volunteering
What you are doing now:
  • You will be (or will have in the recent past) worked in an office setting.
  • You might be working for or volunteering in a similar charity.
  • Or you may be looking to return to the workforce after a timeout for personal reasons.
Main Duties include:
  • To support the organisation with effective and comprehensive administrative and office-based tasks.
  • To be responsible for key tasks relating to the management and running of the office premises including Health and Safety.
  • To work with the Adult Support Carers Team and Young Carers Support Team providing each service with administrative support in the delivery of their services.
  • To participate in key events organised by Richmond Carers Centre and other relevant partners to promote services to a wider public.
