Job Description

An established manufacturer of plastic products is currently seeking an experienced Mouldshop Supervisor to join their busy production facility. Manufacturing components for both in-house production and sub contract customers, this business has continuedto grow year on year.Reporting in to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading a team in a fast paced environment, manufacturing precision components from a range of different polymers, all whilst maintaining high levels of quality and ensuring optimum productionefficiency.As Mouldshop Supervisor, your duties will include -

Organising and overseeing day to day planning and running of the department in conjunction with Production Control
Setting up new tools and trialling new materials
Resolving processing/moulding issues
Identifying process improvements and ensuring necessary actions are implemented
Training of staff where required

To be successful in the role of Mouldshop Supervisor the ideal candidate will -

Have experience of running a plastic injection moulding department
Be skilled in tool trialling, process optimisation and trouble shooting
Be capable of identifying process improvements
Have previous supervisory experience
Have likely held the job title of Shift Supervisor, Setter Supervisor, Process Technician, Moulding Teamleader, or similar
