• Check new policy documentation for accuracy and forward to clients or liaise with insurers
• Negotiate and invite renewals of allocated clients policies
• Ensure all client records reflect the current risk on cover at all times
• Process mid-term adjustments and quarterly declarations
• Deal with clients enquiries on a daily basis, respond promptly and manage expectations
• Ensure cover notes are issued where appropriate
• Create a pre-renewal register for clients review as requested
• Provide support to team members to ensure client needs are met
• Maintain an effective diary system
• Liaise with the Claims department for claims queries and reports
• Create all invoices and relevant credit notes for new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments

To be a successful Commercial Account Handler you will have:

• At least 2 years Insurance experience with the desire to build a career
• Ability to develop strong client and insurer relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills
• Willingness to study for professional Insurance qualifications
