Metrology Technician - Pharmaceutical GMP - £20-£23k Looking for a chemist or scientist interested in metrology and who has a background who can interpret data and analyse systems of measurement whilst helping calibrate & troubleshoot data and analytical equipment whilst looking at improvement of laboratory measurement systrems and processes.If you have acted as metrologist, technical support for labs or as a calribration tehnician with direct pharma GMP lab experience - please apply now to be considered immediatelySpecific Job description This role is based in the Laboratory Metrology team in the Operations Analytical Services group. The job holder would be involved in key equipment, training and health and safety activities.The main responsibilities of the metrology analyst would be to support the lab planned preventative maintenance of equipment, equipment breakdowns/maintenance and equipment validation and support.Alongside these main responsibilities there would be involvement in co-ordinating training for new equipment and processes while being involved in health and safety and continuous improvement projects for the lab.This role requires the ability to react to a wide variety of support requests from the lab staff while managing the workloads assigned. Ability to prioritise own workload based on team deadlines is essential.Minimum 2 years experience in analytical laboratory. Required skills
