Job Description

Graduate QA officer required to join an expanding and growing company that is a leading name in their industry. The company is part of a larger global group that produces profits of close to £500million and employs 10,000+ staff around the world.The South Wales site is one of the leading companies in Europe in its field and prides itself on the innovation it can provide its clients.The science graduate will work as part of the quality assurance department and play a key role in the day-to-day management of the quality management system for the site and ensuring that the manufacturing operations are as robust and efficient as they canbe.Graduate QA officer duties will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the QA department
  • Developing your skills and understanding of the QA function
  • Supporting customers with and reviewing internal technical documentation
  • Being involved in the investigation of quality-related issues
  • Management of investigations including root cause, CAPA, etc.
  • The issuing of batch documentation, and release of batches
  • GMP document review and batch manufacturing record review.
  • The investigation of customer complaints and customer regulatory questions
  • Participation in the Internal Audit program assuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Routine approval of suppliers
  • The preparation, approval and distribution of standard operating procedures, company policies and other master documents.
  • Management of change control processes
  • Ensuring effective communication, cooperation and cohesion between quality assurance and other company departments.

  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant scientific subject (chemistry, pharmaceutical science, biology, forensic science, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • A Full UK Drivers License and access to your own transport
