NOW Careers are currently recruiting an experienced Compliance Officer, to join their Clients Risk and Compliance Team.This is a permanent, full time role offering hybrid working and salary of up to £35,000pa DOELocation: TredegarHours: 35 hours per week, flexibleJob Summary To assist the Head of Compliance with the development of policies, processes, registers and reports to ensure the key aspects of regulatory compliance are adhered to & reported on regularly. To assist the Compliance Team with the administration of routine monitoring, audit, review and root cause analysis. To assist the Head of Compliance and Senior Management team in addressing findings from compliance monitoring activities and promoting continuous improvement within the firm. To contribute to policy improvements To assist with training & staff development related activities, including administration of the online training system. To conduct other duties, to assist with various compliance functions and/or other areas of the firm, as reasonably required.Qualifications/Skills/Experience Experience of working in a Risk/Compliance (or similar) role for an FCA regulated business. Awareness & understanding of FCA Regulation & Data Protection Legislation. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office software and in particular, Microsoft Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organisational skills. Ability to multi-task efficiently. Ability to write clear and concise records. Strong attention to detail
