Job Description

BuyerNottinghamStarting at £23,500pa and rising to £27,000 + Excellent BenefitsChase & Holland are excited to be working with a Nottingham based business as they look to recruit a Buyer to join their friendly, hardworking Purchasing team. The role would suit someone with some knowledge and someexperience of purchasingwho would liketo build on that knowledge in a supportive, busy environment.Buyer responsibilities:

  • Planning and procurement of goods and services
  • Liaising with suppliers to process and manage orders
  • Actively working to support the bidding process across various projects
  • Participate in forecasting and analysing future demands to maintain stock levels
  • Liaising with various stakeholders on quality matters
  • Coordinating with the logistics team to manage deliveries
  • Working closely with the Planning team on forecasting for procurement purposes
Hours:Full-time, Monday to Friday9am5:30pm Mon to Fri (Flexible)Required skills & experience:
  • Ideally at least 1 year purchasing or supply chain experience
  • The ability to use Excel confidently
  • ERP/MRP experience would be advantageous
  • Be people oriented
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills
  • A friendly, helpful personality and being comfortable speaking to suppliers andstakeholderson a regular basis
