Job Description

A growing business based around the UK is looking for an L&D/Early Careers Coordinator to join the team. This role is a real chance to gain some essential experience within the L&D / HR environment. You will work very closely with the Head of Learningand Development and will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all training and development activity and all support and coordination of early career programmes, ensuring core training is delivered to key roles and development activityis supported.This role can be based in London, Essex or Nottingham.As an L&D/Early Careers Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Organising training calendar for all training requests and design of softer skills training program.
  • Booking internal and external training events and liaising with both internal and external
  • Monitoring the progress and updating records on all staff undertaking professional memberships and further/higher qualifications.
  • Providing proactive support, advice and guidance on all training issues.
  • Working with Management team to design and develop training programme
  • Conducting organisation-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Maintaining training database system and training records
  • Managing annual mandatory training calendar ensuring full completion within targeted timescales
  • Coordinating the development and of induction for all new employees, ensuring the content is reviewed and updated continually in line with feedback received
  • Taking responsibility for the coordination and delivery of a range of projects and regular training events
We are looking for an L&D/Early Careers Coordinator who has the following skills and experience:
  • Early careers programme administration experience
  • Knowledge of the L&D administration environment and how to deliver on expectations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Confidence in handling large volumes of requests from different entities
  • The ability to pick up new systems quickly, to seek out better, more efficient ways of doing things, as well as learning to enable your colleagues to better themselves through future growth.
