Job Description

THIS POST IS A FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT CONTRACT FOR 6 MONTHS TO COVER THE NEEDS OF THE SERVICEIF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR THE SECONDMENT POSITION YOU MUST OBTAIN PERMISSION FROM YOUR CURRENT LINE MANAGER PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THIS POSTAn exciting opportunity has arisen for two six month secondments within the Manual Handling Department of the Health, Safety and Fire Team . These posts will be responsible for the training of new starters in response to the current pandemic. The successful candidates will be required to undertake the delivery of the All Wales Manual Handling Passport to meet the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.This is a key role supporting mandatory training requirements and the maintenance of best practice to meet the All Wales Manual Handling Passport, full training will be provided to meet these requirements.This role is across all sites and candidates may need to travel to different locations throughout Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.Please ensure you discuss with your Line Manager prior to applying as you will need to be released from your current role.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.Closing Date: 10th November 2020For further details / informal visits contact:Darren GillCorporate Manual Handling Advisordarren.gill@wales.nhs.uk
