Job Description

BoltonOffice-based, on-site parking availableFlexible working schedulefull time/part timeSalary - £22k p.a. pro rataWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to join a long established and successful financial advice firm, working in their office based in Bolton.You will be joining a busy team, where you will be supported and challenged in a way that will allow you to work at your full potential, expanding upon your existing knowledge and skills.About the role:This role is varied and rewarding, you will be taking on a range of duties. Such as:

  • Maintaining and updating records, maintaining accurate data input and confidentiality.
  • Liaising with providers, lenders and clients for case progression and case placement.
  • Tracking new business and current position, updating Adviser accordingly
  • Ensuring all new business has been checked and been signed off (if required)
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is held within the client files, meeting FCA rules and regulations
  • Entering new client information and fact find details on to the database
  • Preparing and send-off authority letters
  • Inputting details of existing mortgages and protection and scanning documents and emails to file
  • Dealing with a range of requests from advisers, clients and providers
  • Building rapport quickly with colleagues, clients and customers, establishing needs and providing exceptional standards of service.
About you:You will be a team player, someone who enjoys getting involved and helping where you can. You will be proactive, taking pride in all aspects of your work and will have a driven and self-motivated nature.The Essentials:
  • Experience in administration, ideally in financial services.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations, a willingness to learn and keep up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, sound IT skills.
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to build rapport both in person and over the telephone.
  • Attention to detail and an appreciation of the importance of data accuracy
  • Planning and organisational skills.
