Job Description

Pay: MPS or UPS Start Date: September 2021 Main Pay / Upper Pay Scale plus TLR 1B (£9694.99)Hugh Christie is a mixed wide ability 11 to 18 highschool based in Tonbridge, Kent. Hugh Christie is the place to be happy,successful and where pupils are well prepared for adult life. Hugh Christie isa good school with stable and well-motivated staff. Staff are supported wellthrough a bespoke INSET programme led by our Lead Practioner Group. Staff areencouraged to progress with most of the Senior Leadership Team being formermiddle leaders in the school. The school finishes at 1-30pm on a Friday and hasa two week holiday at the end of Term 1 to promote wellbeing. We are looking to recruit a highly motivatedDirector of Learning with responsibility for Personal, Social, Health andEconomic Education & Citizenship. The post involves you working with staffacross the school on designing, implementing and evaluating our ambitiousprogramme for PSHE and Citizenship. You will help staff to plan and deliverhigh quality lessons that promote PHSE and Citizenship topics as valuable andimportant. You will be contributing to whole school development and this is an excellentpost for an ambitious teacher. Our ideal candidate will:
