Paint Sprayer - Classic Car Restorer Salary: CompetitiveLocation in the Maldon, Essex area (Rural location)Monday - Friday, 8.30 -5.00pm - 40 hour per weekJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Classic Car Restorer who is a specialised Paint Sprayer to join this small, dedicated team to preserve and enhance the beauty of classic automobiles. As a key member of their restoration team, you will play a crucialrole in bringing classic vehicles back to their original glory by applying high-quality paint finishes with precision and attention to detail.Additionally, you will be involved in some accident and repair work on non-classic cars.Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation.
• Paint Application.
• Colour Matching.
• Equipment Maintenance.
• Quality Control.
• Documentation.
• Candidates need to be versatile and willing to tackle other areas of bodywork restoration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a paint sprayer in classic car restoration or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive paint systems, colour matching, and restoration techniques.
• Proficiency in using various spray painting equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a workshop environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in automotive paint application and restoration is beneficial.
• Passion for classic cars.
