Job Description

Technical Project ManagerBickerton, North Yorkshire£40,000 - £50,000AboutAn opportunity to work with a highly reputable multi-disciplined manufacturing company working within the creative industries. This company work with high profile clients such as Google, The BBC, Amazon, Netflix, and governments, producing products fromOlympic Cauldrons to TV sets, or giant artworks and jaw-dropping structures. Their work can be seen around the world and falls into the theatre, TV set, ceremonies, art installations, architectural pavilions, and large-scale event categories. They pride themselveson being dedicated, hard-working, and innovative whilst providing excellent customer service for their clients and their complex designs.Information on the role

  • Travelling to site to install and de-install projects
  • Define specifications for work packages for projects
  • Ensure supplies schedule, quality assurance and documentation are produced and delivered on time and to budget and quality standards
  • Update programmes of work as changes are made
  • Provide engineering support
  • Monitor budgets throughout projects lifecycles
  • Prepare loading and logistical plans to transport projects to and from site
  • Ensure all systems and procedures are followed
  • Ensure the design team receive accurate information that relates to the requirements of the project
  • Safety Assist with preparation of RAMS for all site and project work in a timely fashion
What wed like from you
  • Willingness to travel away from home/abroad to install and de-install projects
  • Demonstratable project management/technical experience
  • Experience working to varying deadlines and specifications
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and driven personality
  • Planning experience
  • Experience working in a trade e.g., joinery, fabrication, rigging
  • Experience working on large-scale events e.g., Theatres, TV sets, and ceremonies
