Job Description

Working for this blue chip business you will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the business by developing, implementing and using efficient processes and systems.You will have varied duties which will include supporting sales and orders, dealing with customer queries, liaising with colleagues in other units, posting receipts to the system, organising deliveries and other general administration.MAIN DUTIES

  • Adding sales orders to SAGE
  • Processing orders to departments
  • Customer support and queries
  • Directing incoming calls and emails
  • Posting customer receipts
  • Checking and chasing payments from customers and posting to ledger
  • Liaising with the sales team to update and distribute the price list
  • Producing delivery notes for drivers, filing completed delivery notes
  • Maintaining safety data sheets
  • Providing data and support for monthly management report
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • General office administration including filing, scanning, and producing documentation
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Ensuring that documentation is accurately processed and filed
  • Presenting the organisation in a professional manner in all interactions
  • Effectively communicating with other departments to ensure that operational processes run smoothly
  • Checking orders and delivery notes for issues and errors and flagging these with the relevant department
  • Dealing with queries, issues, and complaints
