Production Operator / FLTOur client are a growing business who provide products and services for purification, separation and concentration in the processing of liquids and gases based in Tipton. They are looking to recruit a Permanent Production Team Leader (who will initially workas a Production Operator for 3 months while being trained) to operate and maintain the Plant with respect to all safety, quality, and environmental standards and company policies.Annual Salary:£22k, plus shift allowance of £4k (giving OTE of c£26k) while training which will rise to on OTE of c£30k (inc shift allowance) once trained & in role..Weekly Hours:4 on 4 off Continental shift pattern (2 days and 2 nights including weekends).Responsibilities and duties:-o Receive, handle and document spent carbon deliveries;o Monitor, record and optimize process conditions within environmental, safety, and quality standards;o Pack, sample, test, store and document finished products;o Carry out routine preventative maintenance schedules;o Carry out routine inspections of plant safety equipment;o Contribute to good housekeeping practices within the plant;o Provide support to Warehouse when needed.Qualifications and experience:-1 . A good level of general education;2 Two years experience in a Production/Process environment (preferably within a Heavy Industry background);3 Good interpersonal skills and able to be able to work as part of a team;4 Ability to undertake occasional travel.Specific skills required for the role:-1. Must be computer literate;2. A fork lift licence (Counterbalance) would be helpful, but training can be given;3. Must be physically fit;4. Be a first aid "appointed person";5.
