Job Description

RM Recruit are delighted to be working with a brilliant Tipton based organisation in the not-for-profit sector who are on the lookout for a bright, accomplished Finance Lead to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. It’simportant to note, this role is solely office-based Monday-Friday.This role will see you lead and oversee the full finance function for the organisation, reporting to the Finance Director.Main duties include:

  • Regularly review budget monitoring reports on a monthly basis for each budget holder
  • Provide assistance to internal and external auditors upon request.
  • Assist the team in preparing for the annual external audit.
  • Ensure accurate recording and tracing of sales and purchase invoices to successful settlements.
  • Accurately manage credit cards belonging to staff.
  • Administer any petty cash transactions.
  • Manage orders raised, invoices paid, and credit card purchases.
  • Handle financial administration for additional school service provisions.
  • Receive goods for orders and manage insurance claims.
  • Process expense claims efficiently.
  • Maintain documentation for finance policies.
  • Manage other financial records and associated projects.
  • Collaborate with your line manager to continually assess and optimise the operational and logistical setup for handling financial transactions and staff levels.
Ideally you will be part AAT qualified or qualified by experience. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A professional, can-do attitude is essential for this role, along with the abilityto prioritise workload and be a self-starter.
