Interim Financial Controller

This is a leadership role and has responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Department including a Finance team
Daily the Interim Financial Controller is responsible for the delivery of key Finance outputs, including monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, planning and forecasting.

Production of annual budget, quarterly forecasting process and monthly reporting of performance and cash flow.
Proving analysis of underlying financial performance
Responsible for the development and production of Board and Committee reports and dashboards
Responsible for maintaining data integrity of the Sage accounting system
Development and running of stress testing and scenario analysis for financial forecasts.
Responsible for ensuring that regulatory reporting outputs are in line with regulatory requirements.
Ensure Treasury back office has an appropriate control framework
Leading the process for the draft Annual Report & Accounts and Summary Financial Statement

Profile

Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
Significant experience within the Financial Services industry would be desirable
Good, demonstrable, working knowledge of Regulatory reporting and governance requirements
Established, demonstrable, leadership skills
Demonstrable working knowledge of UK GAAP

Job Offer£80,000 6 month FTC
