Job Description

Sewing Machinist / Seamster / Seamstress

  • Thurcroft, Rotherham, S66 - ideal for those based in Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Dinnington, Worksop or Conisborough.
  • £10 per hour
  • Days only - 40 hour week
  • 7am-4pm (Monday - Thursday) & 7am-1pm (Friday)
  • Weekly Pay
  • Join a company that are seeing major growth and currently in the process of building a new purpose built facility.
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract after 12 weeks
  • Immediate start available - following successful sew test
The Opportunity:iRecruit are working with a business based in Rotherham that design, produce and supply specialist exercise clothing and equipment on a global basis and have been operating since 2018 out of the Rotherham area. With exciting times ahead for the businessin 2022 as they are currently undertaking large-scale growth of the business including moving in to larger, newly built premises (not too far from their current premises). This will allow plenty of future scope for growth and progression with the businessat all levels.To be considered for this position you should have:
  • Previous experience working as a Seamstress / Seamster / Sewing Machinist
  • Experience on Overlock, Twin Needle Stitch, Bartack or Mauser sewing machines would be highly beneficial.
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport due to location or current factory not been on public transport routes (new factory will be more accessible)
