Job Description

Are you a UK Registered Nurse wanting to control your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit youWhether youre a nurse looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if youre a UK Registered Nurse you can join our nurse staff bank and after completing a paid two-week induction youll have access toavailable nursing shifts for Elysium Healthcare at Kingswood House, with a future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.There is no minimum number of hours youre required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps youll have the nursing shifts secured with Elysium that you want.Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parkingand much more. What you will be doing: As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with mental health conditions in a modern and purpose-built hospital , while supporting your colleagues andpromote good teamwork, as youre supported.With Elysium, youll get to experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like as you make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated as youre rewarded and enjoy a fulfillingnursing role.The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank youll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work. Things that you will have:

Where you will be working: Location:Green Arbour Road, Thurcroft, S66 9LYKingswood House is a residential service with nursing for adults with a learning disability and/or Autism and a range of associated needs. Its been designed to meet the needs of the local area for a specialist service to support people with ongoing complexneeds and challenging behaviours who are stepping down from hospital or to avoid an inappropriate admission to hospital to enable them to return to their home area.This small service is made up of six individual apartments which allow people to live in their own home setting and be provided with person centred care, whilst having access to a range of communal facilities to avoid isolation. Its in the heart of thelocal community within walking distance of a full range of local facilities and resources.You will receive a structured and thorough induction training programme before working with the residents, which includes a focus on positive behavioural support and training in the management of aggression and other behaviours of challenge, alongside specialisttraining in learning disability, Autism, and mental health. What you will get:
