Assistant Cutter required to join a rapidly expanding business on a full-time basis based outside of Rotherham. Working and supporting the CNC operator within the Cutting department this role offers genuine oppurtunities for growth and career development.The BusinessWorking for a leading clothing and sports manufacturer .Cutting Assistant Job Duties and Responsibilities: Using trolleys and cages to move product from department to department and building to building. Cutting of various materials including neoprene, elastic and cotton using electronic hot knives. Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. Ensuring a consistent and steady flow of materials ready for other production lines. Loads feed mechanism by lifting materials into position. Inspecting material for defect before processing Covers absences of colleagues within the cutting department.Hours 0700 - 1630 Monday to Friday - Overtime paid readily available.£10.50phr with OT availableThis is a fulltime permanent role with genuine immediate starts.A skills test will form part of the interview.Skills:CNCFabricCutterKeywords:CNCFabricCutter
