We operate a network of 18 active quarries located close to our manufacturing plants.Ibstock will be offering the following Advanced Apprenticeship Opportunities in 2021giving you the chance to train for a highly skilled role; gain a nationally recognised qualification and get paid while you learn!The Apprenticeship will last for about 4 years and combine study at MAKE UK Engineering Training School in Birmingham, with on-the-job learning with an experienced mentor. The Apprenticeship will require you to stay in Birmingham and attend the MAKE UK Engineering Training School during term time.On completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve an Engineering Technician – Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.We will encourage your continued professional development after you have qualified.As well as training and qualifications, you will receive a competitive rate of pay, starting at £285 p/w in your first year with all travel and accommodation expenses covered while at college. You will be eligible for inclusion in the defined contribution pension scheme.So who are we looking forYou need to be someone who enjoys working with your hands, who can demonstrate a positive approach to work, a practical problem solver, who can participate in a team environment and able to use your own initiative.
