Our client, an established retail business, is looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their busy, friendly finance team.This position reports into the Finance Manager and takes ownership of the bookkeeping 7stores..Areas of responsibility will include the upkeep of all ledgers, bank reconciliations, accruals and pre-payments, month end reconciliations and subsequent input of journals.The ideal candidate will require a professional approach, strong team ethic and a confident communicator. You will also have a proven track record in Accounts Payable, reconciliations accruals & prepayments. You need to be an experienced excel user and It is also important that you are happy to take on ad hoc tasks and turn your hand to tasks as required to help your team-mates.This is an interesting role within a great team and culture, we are looking for someone to start the beginning of January 2021.
