Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Lecturer in Plastering within our Construction department based at Wirral Waters. The successful applicant will be aligned to a Team Leader in Plastering and led by a Curriculum Manager. Your priority will be to instil quality and set high standards and expectations for all students around skills, knowledge and behaviours by implementing new initiatives, plan curriculum based around direct employment opportunities, develop teaching and learning resources and continuously self-evaluating performance aimed at attaining outstanding success within Plastering. You will deliver Study Programmes across Level 1 and 2 and support apprenticeship delivery at Level 2 and 3. To be successful in this role we are looking for an experienced Lecturer who can evidence previous success in teaching and assessing young and adult students and support the Plastering department to attain outstanding results exceeding benchmarks. The candidate will work within strict deadlines and take ownership of performance across the Plastering department, in addition the candidate will also have experience of preparing and presenting to Awarding Bodies and preparing for both internal and external audits. The successful candidate will hold the relevant teaching and industrial qualifications to deliver and assess at level 3. If this role interests you, please submit your application.
