Job Description

Do you have experience within EYFS/KS1 Are you looking for a rewarding role if so, we have the role for you!Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school near Wingate to assist them to find a Reception/Year 1 TA to support with intervention work from january 2021. The role will be till Easter at least and will involve you working 3 full days and 1 AM every week.The school require someone who is confident and experienced with Phonics, Letters and Sounds and preferably Read Write Inc to work with small groups of children for 3 full days Mon - Weds and a Thurs AM only every week until Easter. The school have received some funding for the role therefore want to ensure pupils are being given the support they require particularly within Literacy but you will also be assisting with Numeracy. As you will be working independently with small groups you must have excellent behaviour management and be able to take initiative as the class teacher may sometimes require you to take the class.To qualify for these roles you must hold experience with EYFS/KS1 and a good knowledge of Phonics. Experience of Read Write Inc would be highly advantageous but not essential. This role may suit an NQT looking to gain more experience or an experienced TA who may be looking for more of a part time role.
