Job Description

PROJECT MANAGER REQUIRED – CARDIFFLOCATION: CardiffSTART DATE:ASAPDURATION: ContractHOURS:35 hours per weekSALARY: £27,843Are you an experienced senior support worker ready to advance your career Do you possess confident leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team If so, BRC is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a fantastic charity and overseeseveral projects across Cardiff.Role Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of supported living projects for vulnerable young people aged 16-25. The aim of these projects is to provide young people will the skills and toolsthat they need to move towards living independently. Your key focus will be on maintaining high-quality services. You’ll collaborate effectively with colleagues while demonstrating strong management capabilities in overseeing support workers and assistants.Key Responsibilities:

  • Crisis Management: Responding promptly and calmly to crisis situations, directing the best course of action.
  • Handovers: Ensuring handovers are completed to a high standard.
  • Referrals: Managing and overseeing new referrals into the service.
  • Coverage: Ensuring appropriate coverage for all projects in cases of sickness or absence.
  • Documentation: Overseeing case notes, support plans, and client progress.
  • External Collaboration: Liaising with external services as necessary.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensuring all employees work in alignment with company policies and values.
  • Safety Measures: Implementing health and safety procedures and safeguarding measures.
  • Flexibility: Working across multiple projects with adaptability.
  • Caseload Management: Managing the needs of young people under your care.
