Job Description

If you have around 2 years + experience within an accountancy practice and are looking to make a 1st career step into industry then this could be an ideal opportunity.The principle responsibilities include;

  • Completion of monthly & quarterly balance sheet reconciliations including resolution of reconciling items where required;
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in implementing and maintaining the SOX control framework.
  • Assisting in provision of evidence and responses to internal and external auditors.
    • We are looking for
  • High degree of numerical competence
  • Eye for detail
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to employ logic in problem solving
  • Advanced level of MS Excel skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Ability to manage workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of the team, providing support to other team members
  • Ideally part qualified in one of the professional accounting bodies (AAT, ACA or ACCA)
  • Around 2 years experience in accounts or with an accountancy practice
