Interface with all functions to ensure efficient and effective transition of product standards and specifications from NPD/ Process Team to factory launch.Ensure factory materials / product documentation is accurate and available at all times.To review, approve and act on all changes to raw material / Printed Packaging specificationsMaintain safe, visible, supply chain and good supplier relationshipsMaintain external product testing programme
  • Supervision, support, and development of Compliance Technologists.
  • To liaise with NPD, Process, Planning, Spec Writers and Operations Teams to ensure timely and accurate issue of factory documentation and equipment set up for product trials / launches.
  • To maintain product standards and reflect any changes that are agreed– Ingredients specs, mini specs, visual standards, quality contracts.
  • Artwork checking and approval
  • To update and maintain integrity / allergen risk assessments – for ingredient and product.
  • To review ingredient specs and liaise with suppliers to obtain information on supply chain, processes, incidents or risks.
  • Co-ordination of external product testing / reporting / communication – micro (inc shelf life), nutritionals, gluten.
  • Programming and maintenance of Factory equipment to ensure correct product data at all times e.g. ACS, check weigh and Bartender / FOPs label set-up
  • To issue and maintain accurate and timely packing data sheets.
  • Provision of data to support daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting requirements.
  • To carry out ad hoc projects/investigations as required.
  • External certifications maintenance e.g. red tractor, AOECS
  • Note that some out of hours working may be required.
  • Manufacturing / FMCG environment experience
